I've been using the case for about a week and been satisfied with it so far. (I'm not using the holster/belt clip thing; it feels a little flimsy and also doesn't work for what I usually wear.) I haven't dropped it yet, but I'm someone who's prone to dropping things, which is why I sprung for this case.
The sides are the most padded areas and are textured so that the phone is larger and easier to grip and won't easily slide on slick surfaces, assuming you don't have anything attached to the back. The back panel is a little thinner than I was expecting, but with the small "lip"/bumper that the sides create, it would be hard to get a direct hit on that part unless it somehow clipped a corner of something on its way down. I'm not 100% convinced enough that this case would keep my phone safe from its advertised drop distance, at least enough to try it out myself, but under regular conditions (dropping from a hand-held height with no additional acceleration onto a non-concrete-like floor) it feels like it would be fine.
When it talks about "dual-layer protection," it's not a case that has a shell you put it in and then a rubber piece you put over it, like the OtterBox—it's one piece and goes on like most phone cases. The fit can be a little tight when you're taking it in and out of the case, but it's not impossible, and it doesn't interfere or have any issue with the tempered glass screen protector I have on it. The case itself is excellent and has held up very well. Unfortunately, the clip on the back is not durable and keeps breaking. I've already broken my second clip. I really like the case, so I would appreciate being able to use the warranty to replace just the clip instead of the entire case.

The case is very sturdy and does in fact protect the phone; I should know because I've accidentally dropped it on more than one occasion. The magnet inside does indeed work for magnetic chargers, but doesn't really work for magnet holders for a vehicle. The belt clip could be made to be a little more durable, but does the job. Overall a pretty good cellphone case
