When we set out to design the Heritage Collection (our first Canvas Totes ever!), we went feature by feature to create the version of a canvas bag we’d actually want to carry, and that would last us a lifetime. Here's what went into our Canvas Totes, and why each detail matters.

Structured, Heavyweight Canvas
The biggest difference you’ll notice between our Canvas Tote and other canvas bags is the structured design. That’s because we used heavyweight canvas and reinforced stitching instead of thin, cheap fabric that many other canvas bags use. We also made sure our Canvas Tote had a similar tip-proof bottom to our Jelly Totes so it can sit upright on the floor or a café chair without slumping over and spilling its contents.
Thoughtful Organization
Inside and out, there's a place for the things you reach for most in our canvas bags. A front exterior pocket is the perfect space for your keys, sunglasses, or anything else you prefer to keep within reach. Inside, you’ll find another pocket to fit your phone, lip gloss, wallet, and the other smaller items that usually vanish to the bottom of your purse.
The roomy main compartment handles everything else, from your groceries and a change of clothes to a picnic for two. And thanks to the structured design, everything you pack stays organized and in place; however, we do love pairing the Canvas Tote with our Tote Organizers for extra storage options.

Caring For Your Canvas Bag
Canvas is the kind of material that gathers a little bit of history with each use, but that’s not to say it can’t use a good touch-up from time to time.
To clean your Canvas Tote, we recommend spot-cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap and letting it air-dry. Although it's made from fabric, we recommend avoiding the washing machine, which can break down the structure and the stain-repellent finish over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the bow come untied?
No. Our signature statement bow is sewn onto the jacquard straps, so you never have to worry about retying or losing that perfect bow shape.
Will the stain-repellent treatment wear off?
The stain-repellent treatment is built to last through regular use. Avoiding the washing machine and harsh cleaners is the best way to preserve it over the long term.
What colors does it come in?
The Canvas Tote comes in two colors: Oxford Navy and Ballet Pink!
Can it fit a laptop?
Yes. At 17" long by 12" high, the main compartment comfortably holds most laptop sizes along with the rest of your daily essentials.
